alla Papa is designed especially for families with young children, yet all guests looking for space, nature, and relaxation are warmly welcome. The grounds are fully fenced, giving children a safe environment to play.

Size & location

The resort covers around 3,000 sqm including the car park. It is located in the municipality of 91619 Obernzenn in the upper Zenngrund valley.

West entrance

At the west entrance there is a dedicated spot for loading and unloading luggage. From here you reach the lift step-free, which takes you to apartments 1 to 5 and 12.

Parking & east entrance

The car park is on the eastern side. From here the central entrance as well as apartments 9 and 10 are reachable without steps. Apartments 6, 7, 8 and 11 are only accessible via stairs.

Wi-Fi

We have gone to great lengths so you can use Wi-Fi everywhere on the grounds. Occasional dead spots cannot be ruled out.

Smoke-free

Smoking is prohibited throughout all buildings. There are designated smoking areas outdoors.

Garden & shared areas

Instead of small balconies and terraces, we focus on generous shared spaces – so families can meet, children can play, and adults can relax.

The garden offers plenty of room to run around, a small football pitch, a go-kart track and cosy seating for shared hours outdoors.

Facilities at a glance

Apartments

12 apartments from 20 to 69 sqm, all with beds and shelves made of Swiss pine. Except for the small apartment on the lower ground floor, every apartment has air conditioning and a dishwasher. Bed linen and towels are included. Apartments 2 and 4 are reachable by lift and have an accessible toilet with a spacious bathroom – under strict German regulations they are, however, NOT classified as barrier-free.

Breakfast buffet

Our guests can relax and do not have to prepare breakfast, as it is included in the booking price. The breakfast room, with an adjoining ride-on car track and further play options, has an acoustic ceiling that keeps the children's noise level pleasant.

Wellness highlight

The wellness area can only be entered at certain times via access control, so children cannot go to the water on their own. There is a paddling pool for the smallest guests as well as a pool with around 40 cbm of heated water. The water slide of almost 15 m guarantees fun for young and old. You can also relax in our saunas.

Play and fun

Indoors, right next to the breakfast area: an indoor play area with slide, touch table, air hockey, ride-on car track, fairy-tale corner and games consoles. Outdoors there is a small football pitch, a pedal-car track, a small carousel, the trampoline hall and the bouncy castle. And if you want to leave your beach chair yourself, try our summer curling lane.

Gated resort

Apart from the car park the property is fully enclosed – access only works with an access badge.

Pool & water slide

40 cbm of heated water, a paddling pool for the smallest guests and a slide of almost 15 m.

Breakfast included

Buffet Monday to Saturday, a packed lunch on Sundays – always included in the price.
